Video/Game Database in alpha! (8/15/2008)
After months of preparation and a little over a month of programming, the Video/Game Database has been built to an alpha state! It is my hope to have a beta build ready by the end of the year. Until then, I will post screen shots of the database in action.
Showcase Updates (7/26/2008)
Well I'll go ahead and say it myself: Its about time there is an update on the Video/Game database. Progress has been blogged and there have been a couple small modifications to the dev page entry as the fundamental design of the database has been finalized and underlying code structure implemented.
In addition, while making the modifications, I noticed I had not profiled the database's predecessor here at the showcase. That has been taken care of. In an effort to keep the archive chronological, you can find the profile toward the back rather than the front.
Boom Blocks Cancelled (7/18/2008)
The decision has been made to cancel the Boom Blocks project. This decision comes after much consideration and it was determined to be in the best interest of the V-Studio to move on. Though development is canceled, the concept of Boom Blocks will live on in the V-Studio for at least a while.
Video/Game Database development underway! (7/4/2008)
The V-Studio has resumed active development as development of the project has begun afters months of planning and preparation. Development of Boom Blocks is still stalled as there is currently no suitable workstation for development. A decision will be made on the future of that project by the middle of next month.
Stay tuned to the Showcase and teh Blog for project media updates and development commentary respecively.
To all Americans: Happy Independence Day!
